SUMMARY:

On Friday, 10/14/2017, at approximately 1000 hours, Daly City Police responded to 845 Gellert Boulevard of the report of a possible elder abuse of Antonio Aragon via an Adult Protective Services (APS) referral from First National Bank. Upon talking with Aragon it did not appear he was the victim of a crime. APS was notified and scheduled a home visit with Aragon to make an assessment for a conservatorship. On Monday, 07/03/2017, at an undetermined time, Antonio Aragon reported to staff at the First National Bank, located at 975 El Camino Real, he was being "abused by people who he is ill". He told me lived alone and was only able to state say his brother was his next closest relative. I asked him who bought food and he told be he buys his own groceries. Aragon told me he often forgets things that happen day to day and probably would not remember me visiting him. I asked him if he remembered going to the bank in July and he told me he could not remember. I asked him if he had a caregiver and he told me he did not. I asked Aragon if he could show me his recent bank statements and he told me he was not sure where everything was. He also told me he thought he misplaced a check he was supposed to deposit and sometimes also misplaces money around the house. Aragon stated he last at a meal in the morning which consisted of toast and coffee. Aragon told me he owned several properties in San Francisco and at one point managed 7 apartments.
