Every single day there are reports on the news of violence acted from one human to another and many say that that specific individual has a mental illness issue. Some people even through the word psychopath and sociopath around without clearly knowing or understanding the definition. A psychopath is defined as a person suffering from a mental disorder with abnormal or violent social behavior. This individual is also described to be unable to form some sort of emotional affection or feeling compassion for others. We are able to detect some individuals just through their behavior, but could be detected earlier before anybody gets injured because of one’s actions. In the article, Neuropsychology of the Aggressive Psychopath by Laurence Miller, one of the studies conducted focused on the roles of the frontal lobes in cognition and behavior. In a clinical study, individuals with frontal lobe damage are believed to have a rise in the first syndrome, which is characterized by being related to pathology containing a dorsolateral convexity in the frontal lobe area (Miller, 131). This is especially important because of the fact that this area is usually developing. Another important finding mentioned in this article is that the role of the lobes in directions task appropriate behavior is aided by the influence of spoken direction.
