American flag Strong proud and amazing are just three words that I can describe the American flag. You might ask why I think the American flag is the best invention. Well I can tell you, in my opinion the American flag is the best invention because it makes you who you are today. I know that if we didn’t have the American flag a lot of people would have given up. The American flag changed that, it made us proud, strong and hopeful, that is one reason why I think the American flag is the best invention. In my opinion I believe the American flag has had the greatest impact on society. I think the American flag is a symbol of peace and hope. In my opinion, it gives people reason to serve for this country and it also gives me hope to get good grades and stay strong. So if we didn’t have the flag what wouldn’t have anything to look up to. It takes a lot for people to go to the Army and train to fight to prepare for a war. That would be scary to all the sudden go to war and possibly die the next day it takes a lot of guts to do something like that, I don’t know what I would do if I was faced with that situation. I definitely would be scared and I don’t know how to shoot a gun so imagine that. You were taken away from your family to train in the war. You didn’t know how to shoot a gun so you would have to lean from scratch. That would be terrifying, I would be scared, So the American flag represents the people who fought for us, most veterans are homeless now and that’s very heartbreaking to see the people who risked their lives for you are being treated not so good.
