Go getters are people that strive for bigger and better opportunities. They are people that think of an idea and fulfill, overcoming obstacles that get in their way. They are filled with passion and have a tenacious mind for what must be done. Those go getters are the ones that change the world one dream at a time. Andrew was the definition of a go getter, he recognized that there was a lack of opportunity for other people who were deaf to get an education in Africa. He spent many years improving and growing the quality of deaf schools.This determination later got him respect and recognition. He was able to accomplish a growth of awareness and schools for those who truly needed it. Andrew inspires me to find my passion, to try different things and not to be intimated by obstacles that may come my way. His story is extremely empowering, it just reassures me that I am in control of my future. I’m in charge in making the decisions in my life and nothing can hold me back when I make my dream into reality. I admire Andrew and his journey to success and it just gives me confidence to go on with my life and improve what I can. I believe that Andrew deserve more recognition from the hearing world. I think that people that are privileged with the ability to hear take it for granted and doesn’t really think in the struggle of others. It’s something that I recognized in my own life and so I’m trying to change and be more considerate of others and help more people. That’s one of the main reasons that I am taking this class and I hope that this new skill will let me be more help to others.
Andrew Foster was a ball of fire, he saw something that he could improve and did everything in his power to help. All his accomplishments got him awards and recognition that helped his cause. He wanted to help others and provide education because he believed in the power of communication. He is a role model for a lot of people and his legacy should go
