Basketball and soccer, have there ever been two sports more beloved by the whole country? Both of these sports attract a plethora of very loyal fans and there are many that would argue that one is better than the other. There are some very big similarities and differences between the two. The net is in sight, players sweaty and anxious to score the next point. Do I dribble left or right? The crowd is roaring and time is of the essence. The ball is moving fast and takes control and concentration to maneuver. A player is waiting to defend the net, it's going to take some fancy foot work to get around him. This scene could be a description of either a basketball or soccer game. These two games have many things in common, the first would be an athlete with skills to play a very competitive game. Nets are used for scoring in both games with players moving across a rectangular playing field to score a goal or shot.
