The moment that first sparked my interest in the field of nursing and healthcare began when I was just thirteen years old. At that time, I entered a medical magnet high school and my four years of studies there provided me with insight into the nursing field. More specifically, during my senior year in high school, I decided I wanted to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). While I cared for patients, I felt a deep sense of satisfaction, confidence, and accomplishment. I then realized, my decision on becoming a CNA put me in a position of satisfaction and gave me endurance and courage to pursue a career as a professional Registered Nurse.
