As a student in 2018, I want my future to incorporate my passion for learning new concepts in medicine and health care. My current course of study is a preparation program to becoming a registered nurse. A registered nurse in the health care system requires a 4 year (minimum) program in university. My strengths in science, math, and english have helped me succeed partially. However, as a child I experienced poor mental health which resulted in attending secondary school for one extra semester. This resulted in the requirement for a Pre-Health Science Pathway program to be accepted into a 4 year bachelor program in nursing.
