The love student athletes have for the game they play can be so profound that the thought of not playing can be intolerable. The dedication these student athletes have had for years is inspiring. Working on becoming the best student athletes they know how to be is not easy but, they have been up for the challenge. The time, the effort and drive to become better at their sport has always been there for most athletes. Many student athletes want to continue their careers after high school and that can mean playing at a collegiate level. Coaches are the ones athletes will need to sway if they want to become athletes for a collegiate team. Any coach, at any school wants athletes who are coachable. There are many different meanings for what it means to be coachable athletes. Most coaches will say that coachable athletes, for example, are athletes that want to be playing their sport, willing to work as hard as they can for their team as well as themselves, and eager to work at their mistakes for the success of the team.
