The implementation of behavior management techniques and practices are the foundational elements of every school, classroom, and individual student. Furthermore, all schools have school-wide behavior systems and plans in place and all educators have behavior plans for their classrooms. Additionally, many behavior management practices are effective in managing negative behaviors, however many behavior management practices do not include a balance of positive behavior supports. Furthermore, at Foley Elementary there is a school wide of implementation of the “Bucket Filler” system. The bucket symbolizes your mental and emotional self. Additionally, actions or words that show that you care about someone. Saying or doing something kind. Helping without being asked. Showing respect to others. There are countless ways to fill buckets.
