Dear Book Club Members,

I am reading Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It is a fictional piece that is takes place in a more futuristic time, where the Government (capitol) controls all the districts and these districts are different places where people live and each district represents certain job, like district 12 is all coal mining, district 3 electronics, and district 8 textiles. I selected this book because it is a great book because it has a lot of suspense and action which I love because it makes me always want to know what’s coming next!

And Katniss is a very brave girl, she is 16 years old and she lives in district 12 where her mother doesn’t really do anything for her and her sister, so Katniss provides for the family and she does that by hunting. Katniss is an excellent hunter which helps her very much when she gets in the games.
