One of the most important acts before the revolution started were the Boston tea party the Boston tea party occurred because the British were taxing the colonists so the patriots thought to protest the king by dumping tea into the boston harbor. So it was a kind of revenge for the patriots and it was a pretty nice revenge at least for the king of course.
