The boston tea party was a historical event which was a political protest by the sons of liberty from the soviet union in Boston Massachusetts on December.16,1773. It was caused by the tea act. The goal was to protest the British parliament’s tax on tea also known as “No taxation without representation”. Their objective was to throw out all the tea into the Boston Harbor. 92,000 pounds of crates of tea were dumped into the Boston Harbor and calculated in today's measure of 1 million dollars worth of tea. There were three ships carrying tea at this time which consisted of The Dartmouth Ship which was carrying 114 chests of tea; the Eleanor Ship which was carrying 114 chests of tea; the Beaver Ship which was carrying 114 chests of tea.
