Imagine walking into a place you didn’t belong and people call you out on it, yet you cant do anything about it. Transgender people go through this single day, when they go to the bathroom they were assigned at birth. No one should have to have a mental breakdown just trying to go pee, its nonsense. The bigots who oppose the protection of lgbtq people and their rights are the ones who need their own bathroom, a bathroom of hate.
First off, let me clarify transgender individuals, because most people get it mixed up with transvestite. A transvestite is someone who dresses of the opposite gender but in reality doesn’t feel like they are it. On the other hand, transgender people genuinely feel they are born in the wrong body. Transgender kids have it the worst, considering they are the lowest minority group In the United States. Suicide is a common factor in the community, but the murder rate is even worse. Twenty seventeen is basically the re carnation of slavery except its transgender kids this time around. Think about it, assigning their own bathrooms cause their “different”, the murder, the suicide its pretty much the same thing but this time everyone laughs about it. Most people shrug it off, take a stand and be the one who does. I’ve heard people one TV saying, transgender people are rapists. In that case, that’s like stating all white people are killers. Everyone knows just because one person does something wrong that doesn’t mean you’re going to send every white person to jail for murder! The same situation goes for transgender people, you don’t have to take away their bathroom rights just because one person did something stupid. If a therapist approved letter was needed to get into the bathroom, there wouldn’t be any problems. Don’t vote no to freedom of the bathroom because of one person doing something …show more content…
Following up with a approval from a therapist that you are in fact transgender which can be determined through evaluation. Doctors see that you’re not crazy but doing this method of work. Starting a gender change such as a Phalloplasty would help people blend in a bit more, the bathroom situation for these poor people wouldn’t be as bad. Transgender men who are in the process of changing their physical appearance will grow facial hair, have a deep voice and muscle mass will happen. In better words, they will begin the process of puberty like a biological guy would. Those who are concerned about FTM men standing out will not have to worry. Individuals on testosterone are basically invisible to the average person, or aka cis person. Cis means they were born in the right biological body and they feel that their body and mind are aligned. As for those who are male to female, options are applicable for them too. Estrogen which is found in a woman’s body, can be injected. To sum it up those who are who are opposing LGBTQ rights to the bathroom do not have to worry about them being the black sheep of the group. Ninety nine percent of the time, you won’t even know they are sitting next to you.
