The main conflict of the book is that Cap has to go to Claverage Middle School (also know as C Average Middle School), and be bullied by "popular" kids such as Zach Powers. Although it never bother Cap, it was still the thought that counted. You could say he always "shaked it off". According to pg. 39, the text says, "Zach hold him he had to hold weekly press breifings for reporters from the school news paper.... The first of these confrences was held in a room tht didn't exist.... He apologized and promised to do better." This was straight up terrible for Zach to do because Cap didn't know anything about the outside world from Garland. Cap didn't realize he was being pushed over and palyed with.
