That is a scary statistic, but the good news it will be a lot easier for you to deal with the aftermath of a car accident if you are prepared for one. There are many things that you will do if you have been involved in a car accident.

Even if the accident was minor, you should still remain at the scene. However, if your car is blocking traffic, then you can move it.

There are a few things that you can do to prevent another accident from occurring. You can turn on your flashers. If it is dark, then you should keep a flashlight with you. That will make it easier for other people to see you.
