In 1953, The Crucible was composed by Arthur Miller and takes place in 1692 Salem, Massachusetts. The protagonist, John Proctor, is the kind of man with a troubled soul, a sharp and biting way with hypocrites. The antagonist, Abigail, is the primary cause of the witch trials and a loose woman. In this hysteria, drama is their way of life, they accuse anyone to have what they desire most, even if it means death.
