Lennie and George are two friends that get along quite well, for the most part, they migrate together wherever they are working and get by with the money they make. Lennie and George are attached to each other because they both have a dream of owning a farm together. In this essay, I'll show examples of how two friends that are very different have similarities and differences.

Lennie is a large, strong, simple-minded man who is usually unaware of his actions and what is going on around him. Lennie likes to pet soft things including animals, sometimes well most of the time Lennie pets the animals too hard and accidentally kills them. We saw an example of this when Lennie accidentally killed his pet puppy that he had received as a gift. Lennie was also very innocent and kind hearted, he also means well and is easily pleased. Lennie doesn’t mean any harm but sometimes he gets into trouble, he doesn’t mean to be violent but sometimes he is in an accident.

George is very slow to trust other people and gets a feel or read off of them before getting too close to them. George also thinks he would be better off alone and thinks that he’s stuck with Lennie and a curse that he will never break. George doesn’t hate Lenny though as we could tell in the end George was sad and mourned the loss of Lenny. George just knows and feels the burden of having Lenny with him all the time and taking care of him; this is why he feels he would be better off
