Rationale: Why do you believe you need to develop this competency?
Because tools are our best helper, whatever we do , tools can help us more properly finish some type of work. I think the correct utilizing of tools can considerably contribute to our efficiency, it enable us to use shorter time finishing much more works , meanwhile ensure the quality of our project . I was on a math test without my calculater and I got only 50 score for that one , cause it is really tough to do some complex calculations without a calculater .
Plan: What opportunities do you have in ENGG1111 or any other units of study to develop this competency? We are doing different activities in ENGG1111 everyweek, which provide us many good opportunities , like stack …show more content…
Comparison strategy : when I want to build an object , I will try to use different tools than compare which one is much more force-saving and time-saving .
Proficiency practice: If I got a good tool but I am not familiar with its sophisticated abilities , I will practice more to improve my proficieny
Plan: What evidence will you use to determine if you have developed this competency? 1. I can rapidly and correctly choose tools in different situations
2. I can easily use those tools and I know what they exactly do.
3.I have done several successful tasks using some tools .

Rationale: Why do you believe you need to develop this competency?
Numerical analysis is able to directly express the characters of an object ,it can tell us pretty much information through the rise and drop of lines which are created by different numbers(a kind of numerical analysis) . We could also find something which are extremely useful like the maximum and minimun values by it (to decide the limitation) . It can deepen our understanding towards the capacity of objects .

Subject CIVL 2201 usually asks us to use numerical analysis, like find out the special turning point by analysing several numbers , some variations must be presented through graph then we could see how it goes like .

1.Details exploration . Throughly analyse some special numbers , figure out multiform numerical analysis .
2.Analysis practice . Calculate mean value , variance , maximum value and some others to improve the sensitivity of numbers.
