Youve been running for what seemes like forever when you finally see the finish line you speed up with excitement you've been in second place the whole race and you are a few steps away from first swoosh you pass the person that's in front of you at the last possible minute and cross the finish line you look at you time and and you can hold the excitement a new pr of 24:30 and you made varsity for you school team. As well it also improves your immune system an example is it lowers your risk of blood clots. Second it improves your ability to fight off and prevent diseases. It lowers the risk of breast cancer a stroke. And even heart attacks.many doctors have suggested running to their patients in the early stages of diabetes, high blood pressure, and osteoporosis. Third as most other forms of activity do it helps with weight loss it has been proven that cross country running is the second most efficient way to burn off more calories per minute the first efficient way being cross country skiing. Forth it boost your confidence in several ways when you set and achieve your goals it empowers you to do more and another way it improves your confidence is positive body image which goes back to weight lose. Fifth it relieves stress which could later lead to physical and mental health problem and from this stress relief you will find yourself sleeping better within days of starting. And last but not least it eliminates depression of course it many be the last thing you want to do but it releases hormones that combat depression and studies show that not many other treatments work as fast or as well as running.
