There are a lot of people who have to pay hospital bills. There are lots and lots of people who need to pay hospital bills because they get into a crash. Distracted driving should be banned because it is costly, harmful, and can even cause death. Firstly, people shouldn't be distracted, driving is bad because it can cost you a lot. “10 to 18 percent” of people end up paying hospital bills because they are distracted. In conclusion, people should not be distracted while driving. Next, people should not be distracted while driving because you can die. There are 43,000 fatal crashes a year in the U.S. People should not be distracted while driving, with 462 deaths per day and one every three minutes. There may be a lot of crashes, but the chance of death from a crash is 1% or less. Each year there are 1.35 million crashes and 3,700 people die. In conclusion, people should not be distracted while driving and if people are, then people might die. Finally, people say that it is good to be on their phone while driving because they can text and call. On long drives, it can keep you from falling asleep. They also say that people can do many other things, like play games. In reality, people shouldn't be on their phone while driving because they can put their and other people’s lives at risk.
