October 2013, during that time I was living in Indiana. On our way to our fall break vacation destination, my parents asked if I wanted to see Indiana University. Of course, I had said yes, as I had never been to a college campus before and so desperately wanted to understand why people love this college so much. We had been living in Indiana for the past three years and all throughout the state, from school, church, neighbors, to the stores, the colors Crimson and Cream were prominently displayed.
We parked and ate at Mother Bear’s amongst the students, and this alone was extremely exciting for a middle schooler. As we approached the Sample Gates amidst the beautiful Fall Foliage in all its glory and began to walk around the historic campus.
