The ill-considered and irresponsible actions of Friar John and Balthasar contributed to the fatalities of Romeo and Juliet. Friar John can be accountable for Romeo and Juliet’s death due to the fact that he did not think of all possible outcomes of situations. First, when he was supposed to be delivering Friar Laurence's letter to Romeo, he had intruded a disease ridden place. This made him unable to deliver the letter to Romeo because he was considered sick and wasn’t allowed to leave the ward. Next, without the deliverance of this letter, Romeo was unable to know of Juliet’s fictitious death and believed she was truly dead.
