In the world there are always going to be overweight people because of genetics but those that eat junk food and become overweight develop health problems that can ruin your everyday life. Junk food holds many health different risks some that targets the heart, the liver, and a person can develop diabetes. Risks for coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer, and some musculoskeletal disorders, obesity now underlies more than 300,000 deaths per year in the USA and all they do is target the youth and the younger generations so they can keep the industry grow and the health care will continue to make profits off the unhealthy lives of the people of United States.
Junk foods are high in fat, sodium and sugar, which can lead to obesity and a range of attendant health problems, including diabetes, heart disease and arthritis. The United States is the leader in overweight or obese people mostly because of the food consumed and the lack of exercise in the life style of the modern American in today’s society. Society say you should work hard, take care of your family, education is important so study hard, and eat anything you want to and you will be successful, but making a good dinner is not something that is fast or easy. Junk food is always ready for pick up and easy to find since on every block on the way home there are multiple fast unhealthy food establishment to choose from and somewhat cheap. But it may be cheap and fast but in the long run you are killing your body and damaging health and well being. I hope to show you that even though it seems good at the time, maybe taking the extra time and cooking a meal is helping yourself become a happier, stronger person with higher energy levels.
Junk Food does not have any helpful or good nutrients in it that the body needs to produce the proper nutrients for the body to make the amounts of good energy so you do not feel lazy, tired all day, it is that boost of energy that makes the body feel like it has the energy to make it through the hole day. Instead of eating potato chips eat some fruit or peanut butter and your body can use the proteins that the peanut butter has in it helps build lean muscle and create good energy for your body.
Eating too much junk food the body will begin to develop different diseases that are focused around the heart, liver and there are other diseases that can result in permanent and life altering damage, such as type 2 Diabetes. The liver and heart diseases start from the high levels of fat and sodium in junk food and fast food can contribute to heart disease by raising blood cholesterol levels and contributing to arterial plaque buildup, high levels of trans fatty acids found in many junk foods can lead to fatty liver deposits, which, over time, can cause liver dysfunction and disease. That is the damage to the heart and liver from too much junk
