I have a few words of advice for students beginning their high school career. The number one thing I would tell them is to have a good work ethic. Not only can this be applied to school, but also to any future job. A good work ethic can take you a long way in life. When someone says you have a good work ethic it means that you work harder than most people at whatever you may be doing. Now weather you do a better job doesn't matter. All that matters is that you put 100% effort into what you are doing. Even when working in group have good work ethic. That doesn't mean do all the work, but make sure you put your share of the work in.

Another thing that is good advice for a hgh school student is being on time. When you don't come to school at all it just shows everyone there that you don't care about your education. Being tardy is just as bad. You show up late you could miss important information that the teacher already explained. This is another thing that prepares you for future jobs. If you were late for a job inerview you most likely won't get the job. Most people that do the hiring won't even see you if you are late to an inerview. If you are doing a trade where you have to show up on a job site everyday and you are late multiple times you could be fired on the spot. …show more content…
I would tell you that listening is the most important atrribute as a person or student. If you listen in the classroom you learn more and it shows that you care about your education and want to learn. It is always better to think before you speak. Now if you are wanting to be some form of public leader you should find a happy medium. You should listen to the people and what they have to say.
