First, the Great Awakening had a large impact on the Christian community of the early colonies. In the height of the Great Awakening, during the 1730’s and 1740’s it offered the settlers a refresher in their spiritual lives by inspiring the Christians to make their religion a daily process. The Great Awakening was a result due to the loss of belief.
