The revolutionary war began when Britain made many rules. The colonist tried to refuse these rules that Britain tried to enforce. The colonist have begun to boycott the rules. The rules were made to raise money. This has effected all of the colonists. Some colonist could not sell things so they were not able to make a living. George Washington influenced the revolutionary war by leading the battle of Saratoga, retreating to Pennsylvania, making decisions that saved colonist their lives.
