In the King’s early years, he focused on foreign policy and religious uniformity. The king’s early policy was all about showing the people his support for the American colonies. Fighting for independence concerning the France archenemy, which was Great Britain; this was another example of his support for the people. Although, this was the early part of his reign and he appeared to be on track. Unhappy and unsatisfied citizens did this. The reason for this violent rebellion was due to the unfairness of taxes, only the third estate had to pay taxes. The French people did not want to deal with how the taxes were anymore so they decided to overthrow the government first the King and then the Queen.
