The printing press inspired the most change in society, during the 1300s through the 1700s. This is because the printing press led to many new discoveries of technology. The printing press also helped people learn how to read and write. Which caused lots of people to understand what was going on. The printing press was created by Johannes Gutenberg in Europe during the 1440s.He was the first person to use the printing press to print the Christian bible. Although, in China they had a similar format of printing. This also led to lots of trading in Italy, Germany, England, and Netherlands. This transformed how Europe created things.

The printing press led to people getting more involved with reading and writing. They said that the printing press helped people read and write, and led to more job opportunities (Gale).
