My experience as a football captain had a big impact on my life. As a captain, I had to take on a new load of responsibilities. Some of these responsibilities included: solving conflicts among teammates, making sure everyone is attending practice, and organizing team activities. This was my first time being a captain, so it was a new and exciting experience for me. My experience impacted me because it taught me how to be a good leader. I was put in several situations in which there was a problem among my teammates and I had to resolve it. I learned effective methods of solving these problems. For example, I had to speak to players about appropriate behavior in the locker room. Being a captain also taught me the importance of being humble.
