In “The case against bottled water,” Sean Petty and Justin Trudeau have declared that “there are so many good reasons to avoid drinking bottled water.” They considered about safety, human health, and environment. Also, they enumerated some problems of excessive using of bottled water, such as coliform bacteria’s testing that is one time per week to compare with public water systems test more than one time per day, material’s bottles of water is made by “chemical polyethylene terephthalate or PET” that has a dangerous toxin for consumers and environment. In addition, going to fill the bottles needs to take energy. For example, “energy used to provide a bottle of water to the consumer could be equal to filling 25 percent of that bottle with oil”. The next consideration is more than 85 percent of bottles are thrown into the trash, and a bottle needs more than 1,000 years for disintegrate in nature. The last point is money. One of the Iranian festival detained annually on the thirteenth day of the first month of the Iranian calendar is Sizdeh Bedar, which people spend time picnicking outdoors, known as the Nature Day but unfortunately, most of the people do not care about nature. Last time when my family and I went for this visit this festival, took some food and as convenience used many bottled water. After finished it, we collected all our garbage. With great regret, most of the people dropped many trash and bottles of water in nature. There was a naturalist, who said each garbage needs to take time for disintegrating in nature, for example for a can is 90 years, plastic is more than 700 years, aluminum is 495 years and glass is 1,000,000
