The Game
Like the authors said; “It’s all pretty cut and dry in baseball”. There is a coach and team when playing the game the umpire calls the shots, the batter prepares for the swing to hit a home run, other players on bases hope to make a homerun. This is what a manager/leader hope to do when setting priorities or goals. Leaders and managers have to keep the crew or team focused on the mission or task. Since, rules are made to be broken everyone will not follow them. Finding and using the right strategies to service people takes leader and team effort. “Lead Me Out to the Ball Game” is more like teach me how to play the game of winning or losing to make me a stronger or better person in giving and understand people and directions.

Direction is something everyone my take a different view on going about achieving a goal or understanding concept the way another person does. Leading someone to a home base means you both have won the goal, and vice versa for losing. Understanding the concepts on how to play the game of baseball comes with learning to play the game and follow rules.
