The Legislative Branch powers over the Judicial Branch and the Executive Branch like a panther powers over its prey. The Legislative Branch is the Congress of the United States. It is made up of two houses, called the Senate and the House of Representatives. Being the most influential, the Legislative Branch’s power is given to it through the checks and balances of the government enforced in the constitution.
