Martin Luther King Jr was a civil rights activist in the 1950s and 1960s. His role as an activist was to ensure that everyone had equal rights and weren’t discriminated against because of their race. He is considered to be one of the greatest leaders of all time.
Early years
Martin Luther King Jr was born on January 15, 1929 and died on April 4 1968. His parents Michael Luther King Sr and Alberta Williams King brought him up in a faith-filed household where church was a big part of his life. King was very bright student and he skipped year 9 and 11 in high school. He attended MooreHouse College and graduated with a B.A in sociology.
