Multitasking is something we do probably everyday without even knowing. Multitasking is the ability if doing different tasks(things) at the same time. As we grow up we realize that we do this more often because we become more busy. We want to be able to get as much stuff done and as quickly as possible. To us it seems as we are being more productive but multitasking can also have some negatives. Multitasking is big in todays world and is a way of life. People multitask in order to try and accomplish as many tasks as possible as quickly as possible in order to be more efficient. Multitasking tends to divide a person's concentration because you are trying to complete multiple actions. Even if you accomplish to do the task, the quality of the that completed task wouldn't really be as good as just focusing on that one task. But what would happen is I would eventually be distracted and stop studying. This took a toll with my grades and HW. I ended up getting low test scores and forgetting to finish my HW. With all this happening this eventually caused me to become stressed. Luckily I decided that I needed to change my habits because I would be going to college. Now that I'm in college I have changed my habit of multitasking when doing more difficult tasks. This allows me to concentrate in the one task that Im trying to perform. In conclusion, multitasking takes too much toll on the brain. It is important that people are focused on just one task. Its a practice that should be done only when performing small tasks that don't require much usage of the brain. People should focus on the more important things and avoid multitasking especially when doing some of the harder task.We shouldn't be focused on how much we get done when multitasking but rather focus on just one
