My Reaction of the Video Ning Cai Dance 38A Jan 25, 2012 We have appreciated the video about dance in the class. I got a lot of information on dance through the video. When I saw that the dance moved his/her body with music rhythmically, I seem like to know what is dance. Dance is art form that generally refer to movement of the body, usually rhythmic and to music, to be a natural expression of the human condition and the human spirit. A dance may be a solo, duet, small group, or cast of hundreds. The dance move circle or line. I have known a variety of dance in some countries through the video. Dance has been an important part of ceremony, rituals, celebrations and entertainment. I know dance of functions are entertainment, social ,religious and health. In Japan, the origin of the Mai can be traced back to as far as the thirteenth century. Noh Mai is a dance that is done to music that is made by flutes and small hand drums. Forms are patterns of body movements that are done elegantly and with beauty. Noh Mai dances are put together by a series of forms. Dance is no longer just a hobby; it is also one of the most lucrative professions as well. Besides, dance therapy is very much in vogue these days simply because the experience of dancing helps a person to heal from within. Dance is a form of expression that helps a person bring forth who they are, and what they're passionate about. In China , korea and traditional Mexican dances provide a glimpse into the culture of the region. Not only do these dances from Mexico express the rhythms of the music, but also the vital colors woven into Mexican clothing and decoration. Dance play a
reason according to people he did it is he played violent video games mostly first person shooters a lot which encouraged him to do that. In 2011 there was a shooting in a Norwegian summer camp where the shooter killed many kids in that camp. When he was captured and asked in court why he did it, he answered that he was training for it by playing a lot of call of duty. But most people aren’t considering the minority of this kind of incident. Video games don’t promote violent behavior but they do benefit…
The problem with my surfing is my paddling technique.
Understanding the fundamental relationships in mechanics, helps form a foundation for the analysis of human movement in surfing. The main principle or law of motion I am going to look into is Newton’s Law of Action and Reaction. This law of motion is mainly applied when paddling. It helps me understand how the application of force to my arm and hand determines the speed and movement of my surfboard and this allows such movement…
The Life Applications of Video Games
“A few years earlier, [I introduced] my 7-year old nephew to SimCity 2000… When I walked my nephew through the game I gave him only the most cursory overview of the rules… At one point, I showed him a block of rusted, crime-ridden factories that lay abandoned and explained that I'd had difficulty getting this part of my city to come back to life. He turned to me and said, "I think you need to lower your industrial…

Where Does it Stop?
“It’s just a video game...” Or is it? Video games have long been seen as just a game even if people have had their problems with them. Recently it has been thought that video games are causing heightened levels of aggression. With games becoming increasingly violent and graphic, along with parental influences, it is harder for players to distance themselves from the game leading to players experiencing increased…
Video games a Necessity for Our Culture Instead of a Luxury
Video games are all over the world and loved by millions myself included. Some people may find it hard to imagine about their beginnings as Cathode Ray Tube Amusement Device which was created by Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr. and Estle Ray Mann in 1947. A device which most people may not have even heard of was the first video game. If someone told Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr. and Estle Ray Mann How big of an impact video games would have…
create our reenactment of Hamlet’s soliloquy in Act 3 Scene 2 we watched several videos to see how the interpreted the play before we created our own. The one that inspired us the most was David Tennant, Patrick Stewart, & Penny Downie’s video. The element of the film that best illustrated my understanding of the play was how the actor used his tone in voice, how long he drew out the words, and his overall reactions while speaking the soliloquy. In this particular film Hamlet was found speaking into…
In the beginning of my presentation I do believe that I established credibility right off the
bat. I believe this because right away I used statistics from an organization thats primary goal is
to raise awareness of domestic violence. Using those stats and tying them in with what Ray Rice
did gave me credibility. I don’t think that the credibility in the body of my speech was as good as
the introduction. The main reason for this is because of the video on my slide not being ready to

Although portions of other learning styles are incorporated such as the Aural, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic styles within some aspects of an individual’s daily learning, the VARK assessment indicates my style to be majority Visual. Visual learners use visualization techniques to…
My current view on Bigfoot is that he is an imaginary creature. I never sat and thought about my belief on him, I just grew up seeing him on commercials, or on cartoons, or read thing about him on the Internet.
In the first Wikipedia article I felt the most important piece information was that Bigfoot is described in reports as a large hairy ape-like creature, ranging between 6-10 feet tall, weighing in excess of 500 pounds, and covered in dark brown or dark reddish hair…
