I am deeply honored to be recognized as a potential member of the National Honor Society. To me this means that I have shown everything you look for in a student who goes above and beyond to be part of the national honor society. I have not taken this selection for granted as I believe that I would be a great candidate for the National Honor Society. I am hardworking,honest and reliable. This year I am in geometry and honors chemistry. In classes that had regents I had passed them the first time in living environment and honor earth science I had gotten a 71 and 73. In algebra I got an 82 on the regents. So throughout my high school year, my grades have shown the amount of effort and time I put in to get good grades in my classes. As part of my honors global class last year, we took three classes out for two of our class periods and went on a walk to pick up garbage around the school and community when the weather was nice. As a whole group we picked up around the school and community within an hour and we did a good job and helped others out so they can live without garbage in their yard and the water near them. In conclusion, I have done a part of helping the community with cleaning up the garbage and making sure they have a clean environment to live in. I have also been very good at helping my classmates with their homework.I have helped my classmates understand a lesson if they didn't understand. Then I helped them with their homework for that lesson so they knew what they were doing. I have also helped classmates study for tests and
