Organizational culture as defined in the text states that “the shared values and patterns of belief and behavior are accepted and practices by members of a particular group or organization” (Parnell, 2014). As with my organization or company, the culture one that is very strong but adaptive and creative.
The culture is strong in that the organization is very limited on certain security issues but the organization still manages to stay true to the mission. My organization works with the Tennessee Department of Correction’s inmate population.
