Patrick Henry was a governor during the American Revolution. He was a planter,a politician and a was against the U.S. Constitution. He was also known for his speech “Give Me liberty or Give Me Death” at the house of Burgesses as they were deciding if they would put military troops into active duty or not.

Patrick Henry was born second to nine children. He grew up with some formal study, but most of his education was provided to him father,and his uncle who was a priest. Historian believes it was his father,and his uncle who had shaped him up to be a passionate speaker. Patrick Henry started his first job working at his father’s store at the age of 15 years old.
