Growing up I never thought of past I found myself living moment to moment and just experiencing everything life had to offer. It’s actually quite ironic that I have learned to live this way because in my family everyone is constantly looking back at the better days. My family was social in a way that I was isolated for the most part. Being a third generation latin america caused a langues barrier for me and the other member of my family the barrier grew much larger with the fact that many values and goals in life did not match theirs. So when I had a goal it had to be done on my own if i wanted to learn a sport, an instrument, or artistic skill they were frowned upon for according to them a waste of time when I could be learning how to be proper
