ISIS In 2014 Isis started to become noticeable. They started to take over large areas of land in Syria and Iraq. They are becoming known for brutality, which includes mass killings, abductions of men and women and they’re beheading people. Isis wants muslims around the world to swear loyalty to their leader. His name is Ibrahim Awad Ibrahim al-Badri al-Samarrai, also known as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi he also wants to move territory to his control. Isis wants to completely destroy God’s rule on earth and to defend Muslim society or umma against infidels and apostates. They want their religion to be the only one around. This group Isis started in Iraq and Syria.
