(History of the salvation army) In 2021, The Salvation Army was ranked No. 2 on the list of “America’s Favorite Charities” by The Chronicle of Philanthropy.” (The Salvation Army named one of America's favorite charities in 2021) How are people able to receive help from the Salvation Army? The answer to that is anyone can call, email, or go to one of their centers where they will be placed through the process of being helped. And they can be helped with food, shelter, a grant to pay bills, and many other wonderful things that are great blessings to those who need it. Anyone who needs a grant simply just has to apply for aid, and once processed and passed all legitimacy they will offer help in some way, shape, or form. “The social service centers in GA provide help with rent, utility bills, free gasoline or hotel vouchers, food and more as well as address basic needs of those qualified families that are faced with a crisis.” (Salvation Army assistance in Georgia.)
