“Organic Farming rules do not allow chemical weed killer, so Greenways has to use other methods fight weeds.”(120) Author, Michael Pollan, states in his book, Omnivore's Dilemma. By not using chemical fertilizers, and pesticides organic farmers prevent diseases and brain damage caused by the chemical substance. They also lessen the soil pollution from this chemical spray. All americans need to buy organic food because it eliminates the chances of adverse neurological effects and other diseases from the pesticides used, and organic farming is better for the soil. By buying organic food, you eliminate the chance of getting brain damage, and risks of other diseases, caused from the surplus of chemical substances used in conventional farming.
