The American Revolution was one of the most important events in American history. Also known as the war of independent due to the American colonies fighting for freedom from Britain. There were many causes of the American revolution. King George I I l lost an abundant amount of money buying supplies as a result of the French and Indian war, to get debt free, George imposed taxes on the American colonies without their compliance. The colonist boycotted Britain's goods due to the fact that they didn't like to taxed for things that were always free to them. The passage of the tea act in 1773 caused the Boston tea party which was one of the most famous causes causes of causes of the American revolution. Conservative is the belief in old traditional values and attributes and are against change and innovation, while radical is the belief in change and innovation. I consider the American revolution a radical protest due to a number of things. The American government is not similar to the British parliament. The United states has a written constitution while Britain doesn't. Britain does however have various acts of parliament. The constitution is very hard to change but the various acts of parliament can be changed easily by a majority in the legislature. America also has the separation of powers of the executive, legislative, and judicial branch while Britain does not.
