The Connecticut Compromise, also known as The Great Compromise, was established and signed in 1787 at the Constitutional Convention of 1787. Even though the word “compromise” in the name, it was not at all fair. The Compromise was not fair, because the bigger states got more representation, or more of what they wanted. There was a total of 55 delegates that attended the convention, and out of those 55, 39 of the states agreed with it. Even though 39 did agree, there was still 16 individuals that did not agree. The Great Compromise included 3 articles that the bigger states wanted, and then only 1 article that the smaller states wanted. The three articles that they did pass for the bigger states were: 2 houses, representation by population,
