In great stories, the format of the hero’s journey to show growth of characters, it also able the readers to relate to the struggle and success. Like several characters Caden goes through an adventure where his goal is to come back better and strong mentally, in the book he goes through three major steps; the call to adventure, the abyss, and the return with a gift. The Hero adventure begins when he receives a call to action, for Caden this happened when he starts over thinking and comes up with ideas that shows signs of paranoia.
