The Intolerable Acts is the law passed by the British parliament as a response to the Boston Tea Party. After the French and Indian War, the British were out of money. To repay the debts, British decided that the colonist has to pay taxes since the British helped them fight the war. The Intolerable Acts that the Britsh passed included Boston Port Act, The administrations of justice act, The Massachusetts government act, the quartering act of 1774 and the Quebec Act. The Boston Port Act closed the port of Boston the shipping until the people paid the taxes for tea. The Administrations of Justice Act that allowed the British officials, who were convicted of murder, they were allowed to have their trial held in England rather than Massachusetts
