The American Revolution was the war between the colonists and the British in the year, from April 19, 1775, to September 3 1783. There were many main causes of the American Revolution. Three important events that caused the American Revolution were, the Boston Massacre, Paul Revere’s famous ride along with the Battles of Lexington and Concord, and The Declaration of Independance. The first important act, was The Boston Massacre, which occurred on March 5th, 1770. It occurred when a colonist was arguing with a British Captain outside of the Customs House.
