Who’s to blame for the deaths of the lovers called Romeo and Juliet? It’s obviously the Nurse who took care of Juliet because she was a hypocrite with who Juliet should marry, wanted Juliet to marry Romeo too quickly, and did not keep a good enough eye on Juliet. For example, The Nurse wanted Juliet to marry Romeo because it’s what Juliet wanted. But later the Nurse wanted Juliet to marry Paris, and no, not the capital of France, an actual man named Paris. This shows that the Nurse is a hypocrite. Because she changed her mind. This is very hypocritical. This is shown in act 3, where? The writer is not too sure, this is all based on the movie, not the play Another example of this blame is shown with the Nurse’s rushing of the marriage, she wanted to make Juliet marry Romeo quickly. Because Romeo gave her some money when she was figuring out who Romeo was at the church. Also with her changing her mind about Juliet’s marriage options, she completely forgot about the one that Juliet loved more than Paris, which is Romeo. Finally, when Juliet drank the potion, the nurse did not even notice the potion, or even check up on her at night, so obviously, the nurse did not care much about Juliet, only in the final moments did she care. But it is possible that she only pretended to care. Those are the reasons why the Nurse is to blame. She’s a hypocrite with Juliet’s marriage, wanted Juliet to marry Romeo quickly, and She didn’t even seem to care about Juliet in the first place.
