I would a make a good candidate for this scholarship, because I am a very driven and determined. When I set my mind to do something I do it to the best of my ability. I work really hard when it comes to school, work, and other extracurricular activities. I have put in the extra hours when completing my dual-credit courses and my homework assignments to stay ahead or stay on top of my grades. I also take time out of my busy life to help the community. I help out by volunteering for community events, such as waitressing at the lutefisk suppers and serving food at the annual fall bazaars. I also take part in school events that help the community by helping at the blood drives, food drives, and picking up trash around town.
