A couple of reasons kids could be struggling is because of video games and maybe because they are staying up all night or they stay up and are tired and sleep at school or just don't care about school because they just want to play that game. They may also just want to play the game so they don't get there homework done and it ends up hurting there grade and they end up failing.

A reason the kids might stay up for the game is because they enjoy it more than school and they might not be caring for school and their parents need to be more concerned with it because it could affect their school work and grade.
